Bucket Brigade Summer Theater Camps!

At Bucket Brigade we love working with students to tell stories. Their stories. New stories. We wanna know how they see the world. Making art helps us see ourselves and and each other. And… it’s really fun.

Bucket Brigade Summer Theater Camps helps students of all ages and all skill levels become more confident in using their imaginations, their bodies, and their voices to better communicate what’s in their head and heart.

Students will be exploring elements of creative expression and theater through on-your-feet-exercises and improv games. They will be encouraged and equipped to freely express themselves, engage their imagination, work in an ensemble, effectively communicate physically and vocally and create a short original theater piece, in their own words, that will be performed for an invited audience of family and friends at Art House North.

The theme for Summer of 2022 is What We Share – Sure we have our differences, but right now it feels important to be reminded of all that we share. When we share our stories we get a chance to see each other and see ourselves in each other. Theater gives us a place to meet and find some common ground so we can have further conversations. Students will write their thoughts about the topic, we’ll compile their thoughts and develop and perform a short theater piece in their own words.

Instructor– Jeremiah Gamble

Actor, playwright and theater-doer, Jeremiah Gamble has been making, performing, producing and teaching theater for over twenty years. He will be working with students to explore elements of theater through on-your-feet-exercises and improv games and helping them craft an original theater piece.

Our Venue– Art House North

All classes and student showcase performances are at Art House North, 793 Armstrong Avenue, Saint Paul.
