Living things grow. They just do. It’s a beautifully natural process—a wonder to behold each spring as slumbering seeds wake to send tenacious sprouts up and steadying roots down. And, given the right conditions, those seedlings can flourish—spreading glorious evidence everywhere—that life goes on and on and on. Art is similarly alive—pulsing with creative energy. Starting with a seed of an idea, and with care, attention and hard work, growing into something beautiful. We’ve experienced that miraculous journey over and over again through Bucket Brigade as we’ve written, developed and produced original theater with professional artists for the past 15+ years.
This spring we premiered our newest piece of original theater, Shanty Boys of Pine County: Stories, Songs and Legends of Northwoods Lumbermen at Art House North, and then took it on the road to standing-room-only crowds at the Hinckley Fire Museum!
Your tax-deductible gift will help us continue to create, develop and share freshly made theater!
Bucket Brigade is a fiscally sponsored program of Springboard for the Arts – a non-profit that provides sponsorship for arts groups that are not ready to become tax-exempt nonprofit organizations. In other words, they make it possible for groups like us to receive tax-deductible grants and donations as we grow.
If you’d like to make a tax-deductible donation by check, make it out to Springboard for the Arts, write “Bucket Brigade” in the memo, and send it to us at:
